The University of Port Harcourt is leading on the medals table at the ongoing NUGA Games 2022, with 36 medals
Uniport, the games defending champions has a total of 16 gold, 9 silver and 11 bronze medals so far.
Most of the medals were won from individual competitions such as: swimming and judo.
Meanwhile, the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education is fourth on the medals table with 3 gold and 3 Silver.
The NUGA Games hosted by the University of Lagos (UNILAG) kicked off on Saturday, March 19 and will run until Sunday, March 27, 2022.
About 78 public and private universities in the country are competing for honors.
