There are reports making the rounds that the office of the Nigeria Labour Congress in Rivers state, has been sealed by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps
Sources say officials of the command stormed the office this morning; sealed the building and denied civil servants access to the building.
Reasons for the act is yet to be known as the relevant authorities are yet to react to the incident.
Recall that the state government had few months ago, sealed the building to carryout structural evaluation exercise.
Chairperson of the NLC, Beatrice Itubo in a statement noted that the labour house was sealed based on the disagreement between the congress and government on the minimum wage.
