This serves as a formal notification to residents across Bonny Local Government Area that the monthly sanitation exercise for July has been scheduled to hold on Saturday, July 27, 2024 between the hours of 7am and 10am.
This is a crucial sanitation excercise because of the ongoing rains, hence increased supervision by Government Officials would be in place to ensure that shop owners and traders also join in cleaning their business premises and drainages towards averting rain-induced flooding.
Accordingly, the Bonny Local Government Authority would not tolerate street football, loitering, non-participation and other unwholesome conducts opposed to the sanitation exercise.
Residents and business owners are encouraged to weed surrounding grasses, clear neighbourhood drainages, and dispose dirts only at designated pickup points.
