Chairman of Obio/Akpor local government area of Rivers State, Barr, George Ariolu has received an award from the Noble Voices of Port Harcourt as a “Living Legend of Transformation.”
The chairman was presented with the award on Thursday at the council headquarters, Rumuodomaya.
Ariolu in a statement said; “Today at the Council Headquarters, Rumuodomaya, I was honoured with an Award as “A Living Legend of Transformation” by The Noble Voices of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
My sincere appreciation goes to Ven Dr. Isobeye Amabibi; The Choir Chaplain , Mr Dennis Akins; The Choir Director and the members of the Noble Voices for their recognition of our stellar performance, commitment and service to God and our people which has brought about the transformation of the Local Government Area both in human capacity and infrastructural development.
This award will spur us on to continue to initiate programs and policies that will better the lives of our people and set a very solid and sustainable template for Local Government Administration.
