Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has said that no right thinking person will fail to support the military to put an end to insurgency and banditry in the country.
Wike said this when the Minister of Defence Staff, Lucky Irabor paid him a courtesy visit at Government House, Port Harcourt, on Friday.
He said the state government will fully support the military, to put an end to insurgency and banditry bedeviling the nation.
The Governor, urged the military to be apolitical in the discharge of their duties, and ensure the country is safe.
The Chief of Defence Staff, Lucky Irabor commended the Governor for his support over the years, while assuring him that the military will do all it can to protect the nation.
