A student of the Rivers State University, Ihunwo Queen Grace who was arrested over the “No Fees No Exam” protest by students of the institution has been released unconditionally.
Grace in a post on Facebook said she was arrested this morning for allegedly threatening the school and leading the protest.
“I only made a plea, I’ve been begging and the school said I’m threatening them they should show me where I threatened them, mtchewww what a show of cowardice, so they have money to arrange this heavy plot against me but can’t pity the children of the poor yeye dey really smell. Because it involves big men the whole state is involved, see how calls are coming to the CP, I no k!ll person so I’m not scared Till my lawyer gets here I won’t sign shit,” she said.
However, hours later she posted that she has been released and commended the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Chairman of RIVCSO, Enefaa Georgewill and others for her release.
Her post reads,
“Released unconditionally, God bless the commissioner of Police, The Assistant Commissioner in charge of Operations…”
