The organised labour has suspended its planned strike action scheduled for today Monday, 28 September 2020.
This is following an agreement reached with the Federal Government yesterday.
The Federal Government held a meeting which started yesterday night till this morning with the organised labour in a bid to stop the proposed strike.
After hours of deliberation, the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Comrade Ayuba Wabba confirmed the suspension of the strike action to journalists.
This was due to the fact that the Federal government agreed to suspend the hike in electricity tariff for two weeks, he noted.
