The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), has suspended its two-days old strike action.
The commission, ended the industrial action after a meeting with the Federal Government yesterday.
President, Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, NIMC Unit, Asekokhai Lucky, confirmed the suspension of the strike in a statement in Abuja.
He said the commission has directed its workers to resume work on Monday. This was a after meeting with the Minister of communications and digital economy, Isa Pantani.
He noted that they will also meet with him on Tuesday, to finalize the whole process.
The workers embarked on the strike action, claiming they were not properly protected against the dreaded COVID-19, amongst others.
