The Nigerian Army is currently receiving online applications into the 86 regular recruits intake for Tradesmen/Non-Tradesmen and Women into the army.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
- Apply online through the recruitment portal https://recruitment.army.mil.ng
- Log on to the above link using the username/password
- Complete and submit the online application form and print a copy. Also, print and fill the guarantor form appropriately.
- Ensure to bring the duly signed copies of the application and guarantor forms to the designated state recruitment centres.
BASIC ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants must be single and Nigerian citizens by birth, and must possess National Identity Card/NIN or BVN.
- Applicants must be medically, physically and psychologically fit in accordance with Nigerian Army standards.
- Applicants must be free of any criminal conviction by any court of law.
- All applicants must possess at least a minimum of 4 passes in not more than 2 sittings in WASCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.
- In addition to the above qualifications, those applying as Tradesmen/Women must also possess TRADES TEST/CITY GUILD CERTIFICATE. Details are available on the website.
- Applicants must possess a valid birthv certificate endorsed by the National Population Commission, Hospital, Local Government Council or valid age declaration.
- An applicant must not be less than 18 years or more than 22 years for non tradesmen/women. While, tradesmen/women must not be more than 26 years as at 18th December, 2023.
- Applicants must not be less than 1.68 metres and 1.65 metres tall for male and female candidates respectively.
- Applicants must possess a valid certificate from State of origin.

Only selected candidates will participate in the State Recruitment Screening Exercises.
