A resident of Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State says killers of late Ahoada DPO Bako Angbashim are still in the area as the police has failed to arrest them.
The man in a statement also said 1500 persons have been shot dead in the past eight years in Ahoada West and Ahoada East local government areas.
He accused the police of doing nothing to end the killings.
“They are not set for anything the police failed to catch those boys that killed DPO Bako , those boys are there , Ahoada East and west has lost up to 1500 people by gun for 8years but the police did nothing even though you report you are not safe,” he said.
Recall that SP Bako was killed and beheaded by suspected cultists led by 2Baba – who has been declared wanted by the Police.
Also, the Police had in a statement said efforts are on to arrest all those involved in the killing of the late DPO.
