The All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, has said that neither guns nor money can make anybody governor of the state, but Rivers people.
The party’s spokesperson, Darlington Nwauju said this during a reception to welcome defectors from the People’s Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress at Adanta, Isiokpo in Ikwerre Local Government Area on Friday.
He said the party is talking to Rivers people because they believe only them have the people to make someone governor of the state.
Nwauju, also said the APC will form the next government of the state, and that only the party can truly provide democratic dividends to Rivers people.
In another development, the APC spokesperson has accused the Rivers PDP of paying youths to fill up Isaac Boro Park, venue of the reception in honor of politicians that defected from the former to the latter.
