The National Examinations Council (NECO), has announced February 8, 2021, as new date for commencement of the 2020 external Senior Schools Certificate Examinations.
Azeez Sani, Spokesperson of the council disclosed this in a Statement today.
He said those who missed some papers during the 2020 SSCE (Internal), due to the #Endsars protests in some states, should take note of the dates and report for the exams accordingly.
“Following requests by candidates to be given more time to complete their registration process for the 2020 SSCE (External), the National Examinations Council (NECO) has fixed new dates for the examination,” part of the statement read.
The examinations, which were scheduled to commence on February 1 and end on March 3, will now start on February 8 and end on March 10, 2021.
