The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has trained 200 women from across Rivers State in small-scale business incubation as part of activities marking the celebration of International Women’s Day.
The beneficiaries, drawn from the state’s 23 local government areas, received training on how to establish, manage, and sustain successful small-scale enterprises.
Speaking at the programme, the Managing Director of the NDDC, Samuel Ogbuku, said the initiative was designed to empower women with entrepreneurial skills and support the growth of their businesses. He noted that the training underscores the Commission’s commitment to promoting women’s economic empowerment and improving livelihoods across the Niger Delta.
