The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) says that the national response activities across the country would continue to be coordinated by a multi-sectoral national Emergency Operations Centre (EOC ).
The centre disclosed this few days ago on its official Twitter handle, while calling on Nigerians to take preventive measures against the Coronavirus ravaging the nation.
It advised Nigerians to continue wearing face masks, wash hands frequently and to avoid large gatherings.
“The virus that causes COVID -19 can live on surfaces for several hours. Take responsibility by avoiding sharing personal items” the center stated.
