Rivers State has recorded 10 new cases of the COVID-19. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 32 with 2 discharged and 2 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known during its daily update of the COVID-19 in the country yesterday. The Centre further announced 174 confirmed new cases of the COVID19 in the country. Lagos recorded the highest number with 51.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 4971, with 1070 Discharged and 164 Deaths. Meanwhile, the NCDC has warned Nigerians to continue practicing good respiratory hygiene so as to stop the further spread of the pandemic, which currently has no cure.
Meanwhile, the Rivers State Governor announced a total of 16 new cases in the state in a broadcast yesterday. Following this, it is confusing on the figures to accept as the NCDC and the state government are yet to agree on the index cases in the state.
