The Nigeria Bar Association has called for the unconditional release of a lawyer and chieftain of the PDP, Okey Wali abducted by unknown gunmen in Port Harcourt few days ago.
President of the Bar, Yakubu Maikyau made the call in a statement on Tuesday.
He condemned the act and called on security agencies to ensure the release of the senior lawyer.
He also appealed to the abductors not to harm him, and release him with immediate effect.
Recall that Okey Wali was abducted in Port Harcourt few days ago. The incident led to the death of two of his aides.
