The National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has announced that its suspended industrial action will be reviewed in July.
National President of the Association, Aliyu Sokomba made this known while announcing the suspension of the indefinite strike action embarked upon, few days ago. He said they halted the strike following appeal by well-meaning Nigerians, so as to also give the government time to meet their demands.
Sokomba called on resident doctors across the country to return to hospitals today, Monday July 22, 2020.
NARD had on June 15, embarked on an indefinite strike over non-payment of hazard allowances and lack of personal protective equipment (PPE) amongst others.
