The National Association of Resident Doctors, NARD, has threatened to embark on an indefinite strike on June 12, after the expiration of its 2 weeks ultimatum.
National President of the Association, Uyilawa Okhuaihesuyi disclosed this in a statement on Monday.
He said the government was yet to implement some of the agreement reached with the union, weeks after calling off its last strike.
Uyilawa Stated that resident doctors are being owed for months by some state governments, despite carrying out their duties diligently.
He explained that if their demands are not met, the association would have no choice but to embark on another round of strike on June 12.
