Former Governor of Rivers State, Sir. Dr. Peter Odili has hailed Governor Nyesom Wike as the best Governor the State has produced.
Odili, who held sway as Governor of the State from 1999-2007 made this known in a statement during the foundation laying Ceremony of the Cardiovascular Center in Port Harcourt, named after him on Monday.
The Indoni born politician stated that Wike has rescued and restored the oil rich State with his achievements in all Sectors of the economy.
He explained that infrastructural development embarked upon by the Governor, is second to none across the country
“Governor Nyesom Wike is the best Governor Rivers State has produced and the best Governor in Nigeria today. He has rescued and restored Rivers State,” he said.
He commended the governor for the honour, as he called on Rivers people to support him to deliver more dividends of democracy to them.
