The National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD), has suspended its few days old strike.
President of the Association Dr. Uyilawa Okhuaihesuyi made this known, after a virtual National Executive Council meeting of the association on Saturday.
He said the association had resolved to resume work following positive consideration of the agreement reached with the federal government, at their meeting that held on Friday.
“We have suspended the strike to show our patriotism to Nigerians. The government has met some of our demands and they have assured us that all our demands will be met. We are working on a press statement to that effect,” he said.
