The strike by staff of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company, NAHCO at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa has been called off.
The strike which started Today was called off after a meeting with authorities of the airport.
The union had in a statement said they want salaries of workers increased, implementation of their new condition of service and an end to the casualization of staff.
The strike grounded activities at the airport as passengers were left stranded this morning.
