The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has confirmed the safe arrival of one of its C-130 aircraft, NAF 913, at the OGMA maintenance facility in Lisbon, Portugal, for scheduled depot maintenance.

The confirmation was contained in a statement signed by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Headquarters Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame.

According to the NAF, the ferry flight was successfully completed on Thursday, December 26, 2025, with the aircraft transiting through Banjul, The Gambia, and Casablanca, Morocco, in line with an updated flight plan and established aviation safety procedures.

The aircraft and its crew arrived without incident, marking the final phase of the movement for the planned maintenance programme. All personnel on board were reported to be safe and in high spirits.

The Nigerian Air Force expressed appreciation to the host authorities in the transit countries for their cooperation and support throughout the journey, while reaffirming its commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational accountability in all its activities.
