A woman has lost her nine-year-old daughter in Port Harcourt, after heeding to the advice of her hairdresser to spray the girl’s hair with snipper to kill lice.
According to reports, the little girl allegedly fell ill after the application of the substance and was rushed to the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) where she later died.
A pediatrician at the UPTH, Gloria Nwosu who spoke to journalists, said they could not save the little girl.
