The family of a 9-year-old girl has called for the arrest of one Ginika Nebafe for allegedly using a hot iron to inflict njuries on their daughter in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Mother of the girl Mrs Chidinma, said she left her house in Anambra state to Port Harcourt, few months ago after the suspect had promised to send her to school while she assists him with house chores.
Chidinma, alleged that the man brought her daughter back to Anambra, without informing them and lied she had an accident and is being treated in a hospital.
She said the matter was reported to the Police in Anambra but they requested for N5000 to register the case and 20,000 to travel to Rivers State to arrest the suspect.
The woman called on the relevant authorities to arrest the suspect as she wants justice served.
