A young man has been beaten to stupor for allegedly stealing a lady’s money.
The incident, occurred few days ago at the diobu axis of Iloabuchi in Diobu, Port Harcourt.
An eyewitness said they saw a lady holding the guy’s shirt, accusing him of stealing her money.
He explained that a mob arrived the scene and started beating the accused, stripped him naked and cut off one of his ears.
According to him, it took the intervention of officials of the Diobu vigilante to salvage the situation, as the outcome would have been different.
He noted that the suspect was taken to a nearby Police station and that the case is currently being investigated.
