The Senate, has advised its members not to play Politics with the issue of security in the country.
Spokesperson of the Senate, Ajibola Basiru made this known while reacting to calls by some PDP senators for the president to be impeached, following the rate of Insecurity in the nation.
Basiru said, he does not think those calling for the Impeachment of the president are serious about it, as they ought to know better that national security should not be used to play Politics.
“They ought to know better that national security is not politics play thing. I don’t think they are serious about it,” he said.
Members of the opposition parties in both chambers had threatened to move against the President if he failed to tackle the worsening insecurity across the country.
