Hours to the inauguration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President of the nation, candidate of the Labour party in the just concluded presidential election, Peter Obi has advised “obidients” across the country.

Obi, in a statement on Saturday called on his supporters to be law abiding, adding that the unity of Nigeria is paramount.

He called for a peaceful nation to enable government concentrate on caring for the people, noting that only the court can decide the actual winner of the election.

“We must continue to live on the path of peace, religious harmony, ethnic harmony, coexistence, that is the most important thing for now,” he said.

“Let’s have a peaceful, quiet Nigeria where the government will concentrate on caring for the sufferings of the people,”
he added.
