There are reports that the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Criminal Investigation Department, Rivers State, has ordered the Omoku Divisional Police Command, to produce a man who allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl.
Chairman of Rivers State Civil Society Organization, Enefaa Georgewill who disclosed this in a statement Today, said the DCP, also ordered that the entire case file be transferred to the SCID.
He stated that the organization will be monitoring the investigation to ensure that Justice is served on the matter.
Georgewill, who condemned the act advised victims to speak up, as he also called for an end to the crime against humanity.
The accused, a middle-aged man was few days ago, arrested for defiling the teenager in Omoku, Rivers State.
