A young man who hails from Kogi State, simply identified as tailor by his neighbours has reportedly killed himself after being dumped by his long term girlfriend.
The incident which happened at Aluu Community in Ikwerre LGA on Saturday has thrown friends and neighbours of the deceased into mourning.
According to reports, the deceased hanged himself after his lover packed her belongings and left his house, saying she was no longer interested in the relationship.
The jilted lover who could not take what had happened was later found dead hanging on his fan by one of his neighbours that night. The neighbour had gone to check on him, to see how he was faring.
“This is truly sad and shocking as we never expected him to take his own life,” the neighbour asserted.
