A man identified as Mr.B has Ignorantly exposed his sexual escapades with his lover, a 14-year-old girl at a community in Ogoni.
Prince Wiro, member of the Centre for Basic Rights and Accountability Campaign, in a statement said Mr.B unknowingly exposed himself when he caught a man who broke into the house of the girl to sleep with her at night, and alerted neighbors.
He was said to be at the lover’s house when the man broke in.
It was gathered that Mr.B is not aware that sleeping with an underage person even with his/her consent is a punishable offence.
His statement reads,
Adult Male Lands In Trouble After Apprehending Defilement Suspect Who Sneaked Into House Of His 14 Year Old ‘Female Lover’
A man,Mr.B has ignorantly exposed himself as a child molestation suspect after he apprehended an adult male who sneaked into the house of his (Mr.B) 14 year year old ‘female lover’ in continous defilement of the 14 year old girl.
Mr.B probably ignorant that his 14 year old ‘female lover’ do not have right of giving consent apprehended the intruder who broke into the 14 year’s old girl house while he(Mr.B) was sleeping in the girl’s house and raised alarm that attracted neighbours in one Ogoni village.
Mr.B did not know that in law he is as culpable as the intruder he apprehended who has been defiling the 14 year old girl from when she was 12 years.
By fate,Mr.B and the intruder has been exposed and cooperation is needed from the 14 year old girl’s parents to ensure Justice.
Many adult do not know that a girl or boy under 18 years cannot give consent in a Sexual relationship.
