The Rivers State Police Command, has confirmed the arrest of one Ogechi Uchendu alleged to have raped his friend’s 20-year-old wife at Emuoha Local Government Area.
Spokesperson of the state Police Command Nnamdi Omoni, disclosed this in a statement.
Jeremiah Chinedu, the Youth President of Mgbuitanwo community, in a chat with Journalists said the suspect was arrested and handed over to the police, after complaints by the victim.
The victim in a statement said the suspect came to their house on January 13, 2020 to borrow her knife.
She said, when he came back to return it, he forced his way in, threatened to kill her, and had his way.
