A young man identified as Sokipiri has been reportedly arrested by personnel of the Diobu Vigilante Services for allegedly disarming a police officer.
Sources say the incident occurred this aftrenoon at the Education Bus stop in Port Harcourt.
They said shortly after the incident the local Vigilante arrested the suspect and retrieved the pistol before handing him and the weapon over to the Police for further investigation.
