The Police in Rivers State, says it will investigate the circumstances surronding the death of a young man identified as Victor Eguzouwa, who reportedly died in a hotel after he was invited by three of his friends.
The incident, occurred at RAJOK Hotel in Rumuokoro, Port Harcourt, on the 17th of April 2022, being Easter Sunday.
According to members of the family, they received a phone call from someone informing them of their son’s death, after he had gone to swim with his friends.
The family, noted that the boys disappeared after the incident, and that the hotel has been unable to provide CCTV footage of the incident.
The family, called on the Police to properly investigate the matter and ensure that justice is served.
