Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong and Ademola Lookman have been nominated for the prestigious FIFA Best Men’s Defender award and Best Men’s Attacker award respectively.
Lookman will compete against a host of world-class attackers, including Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappé, and Lionel Messi, Aubameyang, Martinez among others.
While Ekong will face stiff competition from some of the biggest names in the game which includes, Akanji, Sailba, Gabriel, Carvajal, Demarco, Frimpong to mention a few.
The award will be determined through a voting process involving national team captains, coaches, journalists, and fans.
