The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, RSIEC, has called on Adhoc Staff in the just concluded LG elections to exercise patience as plans are underway to ensure they get paid.
Commissioner, in charge of Civic Education, Tamunotonye Tobins in a statement on Thursday said workers will get paid in no time.
According to him, the commission is ensuring that all processes are in order before the disbursement of funds. He also said the issue of account upgrade is partly responsible for the delay in payment.
Tobins assured that all those who participated in the election, will get paid as RSIEC being a reputable organization cannot fail to pay its workers.
