Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara has urged residents of the state to come out en masse to vote in the Oct. 5th Local Government Elections, and not be scared.
Gov. Fubara made the call when members of the Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC paid him a courtesy visit at Government House, Port Harcourt on Wednesday.
According to the Governor, security agencies have assured him of adequate security of lives and property before, during and after the elections.
The governor also revealed that plans to disrupt the polls have been uncovered, stating that he feels sorry for anyone who falls victim.
Fubara reiterated that nothing will stop the elections as there are court orders backing its conduct.
