Sen. Lee Maeba has reacted to the invasion of his house in Port Harcourt by armed thugs this morning.
Sources say thugs numbering about 100 invaded Maeba’s house this morning the and destroyed properties in his compound.
The former federal lawmaker in a chat with journalists in his compound hours after the attack said the thugs came to kill him, adding that nobody can kill him as only God knows the day he would die.
According to him, he is fearless and respectful, and that nobody no matter how highly placed can instill fear in him.
Maeba stated that nobody attacks him and goes scott free noting that those behind the attack will get their reward in due time.
He revealed that his elder brother was injured by the attackers and that he is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
He also said his security men were tied up and that he was informed the thugs said: “where is he? one bullet would have ended all this Atiku wahala he is using to disturb us here.“
The former federal lawmaker also said the Police were yet to respond to his distress calls hours after he informed them of the incident.
He reiterated that Atiku Abubakar is the best man to transform Nigeria and that he will win next year’s election.
