A young man got more than he bargained for, when he was slapped by a lady for allegedly harassing her.
The incident, occurred in a bus along the Ada George axis of Port Harcourt, on Monday.
Our correspondent, who was in the bus and witnessed the incident, said while the bus conductor was receiving fares from passengers, the young lady turned and slapped the man who was sitting behind her, accusing him of touching her butts.
He said passengers were stunned by the act, including the young man who wanted to retaliate before he was held by other passengers.
According to him, the man explained that it was a mistake and not intentional. But, the young lady maintained that it was a deliberate act and threatened to arrest him, if he touched her.
He noted that the incident, caused a mild drama in the bus, as some passengers were for the lady while others defended the young man.
He explained that normalcy returned after the bus conductor urged the lady to leave her seat for another.
