A woman identified as Evelyn Dodo, has been remanded by a magistrate court sitting in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area for stealing a weavon worth seven hundred thousand naira from a shop in Diobu, Port Harcourt.
The suspect, according to the charge read in court was caught in her second attempt to steal the weavon, after she succeeded in her first operation.
The presiding judge, after listening to both counsels, adjourned the matter to August 11, for motion of possible bail application.
According to eyewitnesses, the lady was caught by a customer at the shop while she was trying to hide the weavon in her handbag.
