A woman in Lagos has been hailed as a heroine after she came back to vote few hours after she was attacked by hoodlums while on the queue.
A source said hoodlums attacked and injured the lady while she was on the queue to prevent her from voting. She was helped and taken away by fellow voters and showed up later with plasters and blood stains to cast her vote.
He said people went into wild jubilation upon sighting the lady when she came back to cast her vote, and hailed her resilience.
“Despite being badly wounded by hired thugs, this young lady never desisted. She came back to cast her vote for Peter Obi immediately after treatment. She’s indeed a Heroine,” he said.
