Chairperson of the Labour Party in Rivers State, Hilda Dokubo has denied reports of her suspension by the leadership of the party in the state.
Mrs Dokubo during an interview shortly after news of her purported suspension, described the reports as false.
According to her, she remains the leader of the party in the state and described such reports as a distraction.
She also said the party will not withdraw its case in court challenging the defection of Martin Amaewhule and 24 other members of the assembly, despite pressure from certain quarters for them to do so.
Dokubo also added that the party will participate in the forthcoming LG election in the state.
