The Vice Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Rabiu Kwankwaso, has reaffirmed the unity of the party following a meeting with the NDC presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in Abuja.
Kwankwaso disclosed that he hosted Obi at his residence on Friday, where both leaders held discussions on key partisan and national issues.
According to him, the meeting provided an opportunity to welcome Obi back from what he described as a highly productive international trip and to exchange views on matters affecting the party and the country.
He stressed that the National Democratic Congress remains united and committed to its objectives despite differing opinions among members.
Kwankwaso noted that leaders of the party must continue to demonstrate maturity, make necessary sacrifices, and tolerate differences in pursuit of their common goal.
He expressed confidence in the party’s mission, stating that its leadership remains resolute and committed to working together for a better Nigeria.
