Kidnappers Demad N50m Ransom to Release Hon. Alasomuka

The abductors of Hon. Hannah Alasomuka a female councillor representing Ward 6 in Ogu-Bolo Local Government Area, have demanded a ransom of N50 million naira, for her release.

Hon. Hannah was whisked away few days ago at Ikpokiri Wharf, by three heavily armed men who shot sporadically in the air.

The Chief Whip of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Evans Bipi, who is a kinsman of the victim had confirmed the incident in a statement. He noted that the abductors are demanding a random of N50 million or she will be killed.

Meanwhile, Spokesperson of the state Police command, Nnamdi Omoni has confirmed the incident.

He said the unit is doing everything within its powers to ensure the release of the victim and arrest the abductors.
