Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, Festus Keyamo has reacted to the emergence of Kamala Harris as Vice President of America stating that the time has come for Nigeria to give women a chance.
Keyamo who in a statement yesterday congratulated Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on being elected President and Vice President said, women should be given a chance to occupy such high positions in Nigeria.
“Congrats to Joseph Robinette Biden Jr, on being elected the 46th President of the USA and also to Kamala Harris, first woman of colour elected as VP,” he said.
“The time has also come to give our women the chance to occupy such a high office in our country and even the number one position,” he added.
