Kevin De Bruyne has been crowned the English Premier League’s PFA Player of the Year, making him the first Man City player to win the award.
The midfield maestro hit a record high of 20 league assists in the just concluded season, equaling the number of assists in a season set by Thierry Henry of Arsenal years ago.
An excited De Bruyne after winning the award on Tuesday said, it’s a huge honour. “To be voted for by your colleagues and competitors from other teams who you play against is amazing.”
