A passenger and a bus driver kidnapped along the Abonnema/Degema Road have been rescued by the Police in Rivers State.
Acting Spokesperson of the State Police Command, DSP, Grace Koko made this known in a statement yesterday.
According to her, the kidnappers abandoned the victims in the bush through the efforts of officers of the Rumuji Police Division and Tactical Units of the Command.
She noted that the State Commissioner of Police, Ebola Friday has ordered regular patrol along the popular Trans Kalabari Road.
Koko assured that the Police is committed to ensuring the safety of lives and properties along the road.
