Four out of the five persons abducted by gunmen along the Kalabari/Emohua road have regained freedom.
Spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command, DSP. Grace Koko confirmed their release on NigInfo this afternoon.
She stated that they were yet to hear from the four released persons, and appealed to them to make themselves available for information gathering.
She also appealed to members of the public to support the Police in crime fighting, and assured that efforts are on to bring the perpetrators to book.
Meanwhile Council Chairmen of the affected areas have said that they will work with the Police to ensure security of lives and property along the road.
Recall that five passengers were abducted along the road few days ago.
