The Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN, in Rivers State has reacted to the no work, no pay threat issued by the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.
Chairman of JUSUN in the State, Anthony Nwachukwu in a chat with journalists in Port Harcourt, said the strike can only be called off by its National leadership.
He said ordinarily JUSUN in the state would not have embarked on a strike but since it is a directive from its National leadership, there is little or nothing they could do.
Nwachukwu explained that they are not at war with the Governor of the state, because he remains their father and that they cannot do anything to offend him.
He called on the newly sworn in Chief Judge of the state, Hon. Justice Simeon Amadi to protect the interest of Judiciary workers.
