The Rivers State Government has postponed the commissioning of the new Air Force Base Runway project earlier scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
In a public notice signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Dagogo S. A. Wokoma, the state government announced that the commissioning will now take place on Thursday, August 27, 2026.
The event is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at the same venue.
The government apologised for any inconvenience caused by the change and expressed appreciation to stakeholders and members of the public for their continued support and cooperation.
