A Non-governmental Organization, Empowerment Support Initiative, ESI, formed by former first lady of Rivers State, Judith Amaechi has reacted to report by an online medium, ‘Pointblank’ that Mrs Amaechi looted 48 billion from the Niger Delta Development Commission.
The medium had few days ago alleged that Judith stole the amount from the commission, through the empowerment group.
But in a swift reaction, Public Relations Manager of the group, Evukowhiroro Roland dismissed the allegation, describing it as malicious and spiteful.
Roland said the report is a figment of the imagination of the faceless reporter, geared towards tarnishing the envious reputation of the former first lady and the organization.
She said the group was formed to empower children, women and youths in the society which it is doing.
He called on Nigerians to ignore the report as the medium is known for carrying out “sensationalist hatchet job on well-known Nigerians.
